ASBRS Breast Surgery Checklist

The American Society of Breast Surgeons just released the Breast Surgery Checklist to advance perioperative patient safety. We are proud of Dr. Ted A. James' endeavors and leadership in creating this useful tool.

The Checklist is designed for breast surgeons to help ensure quality throughout the perioperative period. This tool is intended to facilitate surgical process management and elevate patient care. It is structured into two key segments:

1. Before Start of Surgery

2. Before Closure
